Following documents are required if you are taking a domestic flight within Ukraine:
- For adult passengers - a passport (internal or international).
- For children - birth certificate.
- For military personnel - military ID card.
Following documents are required if you are taking an international flight:
- Adults must have a passport and destination country visa. Validity of passport and visa should not expire earlier than the date of return flight. If the flight is with transfers, you may need a transit visa.
- Children should be included in one of the parents’ passport or have their own passport.
- For children traveling without parents notarized parental travel consent is required.
- The prove of relationship may be required for children traveling abroad with one or both parents. In case if documents confirming the relationship are absent, minor child may be denied leaving Ukraine, even if he has same family name as his parents traveling with him.
Pay additional attention to the validity of your documents. Passengers with expired passports are not allowed for the flight.
Take care of vaccinations and get a related certificate if you are traveling to Asian or African countries.
Passenger is responsible for the proper preparation of flight documents and complement of all public authorities laws, regulations and rules of the country, from, trough or to which territory he is flying, related to passport, customs, currency, sanitary, quarantine and other formalities performance, as well as all relevant carrier’s rules and regulations.
Airline has a right to deny boarding to passengers with not duly prepared documents.
Passengers with boarding denial by airline or by passport and /or by customs control employees, can refund unused ticket on general basis, according to the rules established by airlines for voluntary passengers refund, and are subject to all restrictions and penalties established by airline regulations for their fare category.
